Filter Models
The first step to a clean high pressure spa is a clean filter. The filter is critical
to the spa's performance, both in means of cleanliness as well as performance.
For total performance and water filtration you should change your filter at least 3 times
per year. On systems that receive heavy use the filter should be replaced at least 4 times
per year.
Remember when your spa is "on" the filter is constantly in use, even if
you don't use the tub for a month the filter is still in use keeping the water clean. As
particles and debris build up on the filter surface you will notice a drop in performance
regardless of the pump's HP.
The spa filter is one of the easiest items on a spa to maintain, however time and
time again we find the cause of poor performance to be poor filter maintenance.
